Add your first product on SellLink: a walkthrough
How to add a product on SellLink: the fields that matter, photos, publishing, bulk imports from your existing catalog, and sharing your new product page.
Updated
Your free storefront is up - or you are about to create it. Either way, the storefront only starts working for you once it has products on it. This is the walkthrough: what a SellLink product listing needs, how publishing works, and what to do right after your first product goes live.
What a product listing needs
Each product on SellLink has a handful of fields, and every one of them earns its place:
Title. What the item is, in the words a shopper would use. This is what shows in search and category browsing.
Category. Where the product belongs on SellLink. Categories are one of the main ways shoppers browse, so pick the closest fit rather than the broadest one.
Price. The price text shoppers see. Keep it accurate and keep it current - if the price changes on your own site, change it here too.
Description. What the product is, who it is for, and what makes it worth a click. Plain sentences beat sales copy.
Purchase URL. The link to where the shopper actually buys - your own website, your Etsy listing, wherever that product is sold. This is the link the Buy now button opens, so double-check it goes to the right page.
Image. Optional, but a product with a clear photo is a product that gets opened. Uploads accept PNG, JPEG or WebP files up to 5 MB. Images are hosted publicly, so only upload images you own or are allowed to use.
While you are there: the storefront itself
Your products live on your public storefront, so give the storefront the same once-over. Signed-in sellers can add a display name, a unique storefront address, a biography, a logo, a website link and supported social links - and everything you publish there is public, so fill it in the way you would want a new customer to read it. The bio is the piece shoppers remember: who you are, what you sell, why.
Publish when it is ready
You choose whether each product is published or kept back while you work on it. Published products get a permanent public product page - a stable address you can share anywhere, one that shows the product details and sends shoppers to your purchase link. Products you are still drafting stay out of public view until you say otherwise.
Add one, or bring the whole catalog
If your catalog already lives somewhere else, you may not have to rebuild it by hand: SellLink's seller tools include product imports and bulk uploads, in the site's words "to bring your existing catalog into SellLink." Check the seller tools for the formats they accept, then tidy the handful of listings that deserve extra attention.
Then share the product, not just the shop
Here is the part that turns a listing into traffic. SellLink has sharing tools built in: you can share your full storefront or a single product page. When you post about a product you sell, link that product directly - one clear thing to look at beats a general invitation to browse. Every product page still shows the business behind it and the places to buy, so the rest of your storefront is always one tap away.
Watch what happens next
Your seller dashboard shows storefront views, product views, external-link clicks and saves. Those numbers are informational - they tell you which products get looked at and which buying links get clicked, so you can do more of what is working. They do not verify purchases; the sale itself still happens on your own site or marketplace, between you and your customer.
The short version
Create your free storefront if you have not - new seller accounts can set one up with no monthly fee and no credit card required while free access is available. Add one product with a real photo and a checked purchase link, or import the catalog you already have. Publish it, share its page somewhere your customers will see it, and watch the dashboard to learn what happens.
